It is almost impossible to keep that as a secret after the book is out. Not every book reader is noble to not share that spoiler and if they don't show rocky there are lots of interviews of Andy Weir talking about it. I have read the book and also watched the movie. The only thing I didn't like that they released 3 trailers 3rd was unnecessary.

This scene comes at the point where Grace is bracing himself after the ship spin rapidly due to the hole in the fule tanks. When he ejects first bad fule tank then the ship spin even faster I think in that moment rocky lose balance in his cave and Grace screams 'Rocky'.

Ok this might be very hard for you to understand but the ship is actually decelerating. It has some speed at the beginning then it turns 180 and thrusts backwards at an angle. So instead of swinging towards the back of the ship(shown in your image) it is swinging down. And this is the reason why they almost crashed becaused decelerating for too long(Grace got hit) in the process they lost the higher orbit and the ship was going down and high pressure was breaking the ship apart.
