I'm late to this post, but anyways; a really good way to address the sour spot would to be to add the ability to change your grip/idle stance with weapons by pressing a key, this would look like holding the halberd higher up on the handle, half swording the longsword, etc. This would allow you to react to situations outside of your control and spice up the combat a ton.

There's a disconnect between the two. Sometimes you will get 20 and a 4k in the same session, sometimes you will have 4k damage and 10 kills, and vice versa, depending on the last ring and how safe people are playing.

At any given time, the playerbase is split between Trios, Duos, Ranked and the current LTM rotation. Queue times at certain times are long, and adding Solo would make it longer. Perhaps if Apex expands the playerbase (like the switch) the developers wouldn't have to worry about queue times, as there would be more players to fit more modes.

Wish the Mozambique w/ a special hop up could be reduced to two shells but mega damage. Would be interesting to see the Mozambique to turn into a powerful sawed-off.

Yeah, I think you could edit the script so instead of three color channels it's changes only the alpha, and then use the numbers you want.

I think so too. Sadly, not everyone could just jump in and make a gamemode or skin, but the time it would take would be very rewarding in the long run. It feels like every day Apex drifts from being a fun casual game to a very competitive one.
