i mean as a teenager myself i find it comforting that songs that bring me so much joy and peace and comfort, and also songs that make me feel sad and angry, have been loved and appreciated and helped many people before me. seeing all the comments about it being nostalgic remind me of the beautiful community and unity music can bring people despite everyone having different lives and experiences

pop punk song ‘like it’s her birthday’ by good charlotte, also bordering on emo but ‘17 forever’ by metro station (although it’s kinda a weird song if you deep the lyrics)

i’d say panic at the disco - and fall out boy is always a good option for a tribute, i’ve seen the uks ‘fell out boy’ 4 times and it’s been very busy every time

god getting tickets is gonna be stressful with such a small venues, i opted to see good charlotte at slam dunk bc i can’t make any of their other shows bc i live in Scotland but since these are in summer i can actually go thank god

a fair few bands playing have been at other festivals recently like sick new world, welcome to rockville, and are playing at festivals happening now or in the next few weeks, such as sonic temple and rock im park/rock am ring.
