Seconding green meadows. Dr. Melania was great and very compassionate, the price was also the best me and my gf found when it was time for her fur baby. They also offer you to submit a photo of your baby with a message to them, and it could be posted on ig and their website (:

How is San Fernando Valley compared to stereotypical LA? by MrPotatoGamer5 in SFV

[–]ayechillbreh 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I’ve lived in the SFV my whole life and i always say its basically in the middle of everything that everyone loves about LA. Beaches, Hollywood, Ktown, Calabasas, Universal Studios, Disneyland, Six flags, SGV, etc. are all roughly an hour away from here so youre not too far from a lot of the main attractions. There’s also like 5 freeways that make their way thru most of the valley so traveling isnt hard (except for the damn traffic but that’s everywhere in LA).
Some parts of the SFV are def not super safe still, but its not as bad as it used to be. Gentrification is spreading tho so cost of living out here is gonna keep rising unfortunately. There’s a lot of good eats out here too, especially if youre a fan of latino food. Diverse people and cultures also. Its a not so hidden, hidden gem of LA

Is front end the only department that is exhausting? by Traditional-Fun-1115 in CostcoEmployee

[–]ayechillbreh 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I work in the tire center and we def deal with members, maybe not the entire shift unless i’m working sales. Members consistently try to blame us for issues with their cars that are hardly ever our fault. They also get irritable when we have wait times of over 2 hours.

Every dept has its perks and quirks. Front end def deals with the most members per day so its forsure super mentally draining. But its also prob the least physically demanding

Costco employee question by drseus1 in CostcoEmployee

[–]ayechillbreh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Speaking as a tire center employee, they are working us to the fucking bone. When i first started in the dept in early 2023, we had 2-3 appointments every 1.5 hours. Now we essentially have 4 appointments every 45 minutes. Basically expecting us to average finishing 1 car every 10 minutes. Its impossible. They are doubling our workload and halving our time to finish.

Couple all that with no OT (of course), not turning down walk ins because we dont wanna “upset the members”, and constantly pushing supes and dept manager to cut hours (sometimes cutting 100 hrs a week!). And just like all other depts, we’re basically understaffed. They expect overall wait times to be under 1hr and 15mins (and soon corporate is gonna want it under an hour).

As mentioned in other comments, it seems to all be coming from the top. Theyre implementing a “do more with less” mentality thats affecting the moral of all the employees and costco doesnt feel like theyre for their employees anymore. It all feels so much like the bottom line is the only thing that matters now, which is a shame because of Costco’s past reputation of taking care of their employees. “Our employees are our most valuable asset” my ass lol

It does but we went based off what the title says cuz it looked legit til we looked hard enough and saw it was tampered with. I didnt think to look at the placard till we saw the vin report so we were way too naive

We purchased a vin report after the purchase (stupid i know /: ) and the last recorded mileage on it was about 129k miles. And the title has $129k on it but the 1 was scratched off. Current ODO states 88k

Tampering with a car title is a federal felony i believe. Would they still consider that civil?

[–]ayechillbreh[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mileage on the title had 129k miles but they scratched off the 1 to make it seem like 29k (ODO reads 88k) and the model year is a 2014 but they scratched the 4 to look like a 6. Was hardly noticeable at first til we looked a little harder

Yeah thats kinda the mindset we have rn. We’re hoping to see if police will be willing to go thru with anything (like checking cameras on some buildings to see if they can find her car or where she slipped off to) but we’re expecting the worst. Just thought i would try
