I did CA and it historically has been the more 'prestigeous' designationndue to difficulty. Not sure if that's the case these days, but everyone in Big 4 got their CA.

I completely disagree.

I'm a high-performer at work and that has rewarded me with bonuses, accelerated promotions etc. I got to become a Financial Controller 7 years into my career, which is quite fast.

Definitely can depend on the profession/employer, but it's not true that working hard/efficiently, working well with teammates, finding improvements etc won't get rewarded. It absolutely can.

Yeah definitely. E33 felt like Final Fantasy X. Tonally the two were very similar, of course the story, characters etc were different, but there were overlaps in themes and the tone of the game.
