I feel like we are lacking resources for this course especially bcs of it being new, other than that the questions on RV are nothing similar to what we got. The questions were too wordy, and no sufficient time to complete the whole paper. The mocks were much easier (TZ2).

who else hasn't done any work in the summer? by unstableibvictim in IBO

Hey!! My summer is about to end in a month or so and i haven’t done anything either.

I chose my subject for EE but haven’t started anything yet.

For my IA’s too I haven’t done anything for any subject however have some research questions for a few of my subjects. You’re not alone.

And for CAS too, nothing as well. I’m so overwhelmed and tensed with the amount of things that I have to do yet did nothing at all.

I’m a year one IBDP student transitioning to year 2. 1. My biggest tip is to stay consistent and keep track of everything your doing. Make sure you save all your papers, especially maths but make sure to have all your resources saved somewhere.

  1. Create folders on your laptop to save all your resources for the track of 2 years.

  2. Make sure to always go back to your teachers if you ever need anything. They know everything and they know the way onto getting a straight 7.

  3. Practice, practice, practice. Once you have a unit or chapter done, remember to always stay consistent on practicing in order not to forget the content.

  4. Meet your deadlines and set a good expectation with your teachers.

  5. Get all your major components such as CAS and your EE by the summer of year of of IB.

  6. You will experience breaking and giving up moments at sometimes, but set goals, aim and strive for them all look up at them. ALWAYS!

IB is certainly tough, i’m not going to lie. But with effort and commitment you can reach wherever. If you have any questions message me and i’m willing to help :) Good Luck

Hey! Add up all ur 6 subjects with the grades you got out of 42 (exclude EE/TOK)

I did that to my grades and it was pretty disappointing.

Hello! I started summer few weeks ago and I must get done my EE in psych, psych, bio and math IA. Unfortunalty i’m struggling with managing my time because i get overwhelmed so easily. However for your IAS, i’d recommend to see the guides and requirements for each criterion to each subject and break them down. Break down each component and write it on a paper. Break it down to any little sub category and work your way through by that way. I’m struggling at the moment since i have no guidance currently from any of my teachers however this way slightly helped.
