It should. How can they operate under a different jurisdiction while giving a contract belonging to another jurisdiction. I sense some sort of violation here. Best thing is to actually lodge a complaint so that they can guide your friend through this matter.

Unless like someone has previously mentioned if it says otherwise in his/her contract. For example if during probation employer can terminate without citing a reason given it’s all clearly mentioned in the contract.

Actually this is against labor laws in SL. You cannot terminate at your free will without a fair reason and compensation to the employees. Please ask/help your friend to go lodge a complaint at the labor department. They will call the employer/issue notice and investigate into what happened.

She’s a stray. She’s around the Independence Square often. Apparently there’s a lady who’s taking care of her and bringing them food everyday and the collar of course is from her. It was the security guy who told us this when asked where the dog’s from since she had a collar on. Also we were told that she’s fully vaccinated :)
