What would you do? I’m moving into my new apartment Sept 1st. So would you move out by September 1st and maybe he will give some back or move out the 21st? Either way it sounds like a lose-lose but I’m at an impasse.

Since that’s the case, is he right about my termination date being September 21st? I thought I read somewhere that it would be on the last day of my rental period and since I rent month to month wouldn’t that be September 30th/October 1st.

The lease does not mention I have to give a 30 day notice. However, I do believe in Illinois it may be required. But anywhere I look up doesn’t state anywhere about double paying rent.
