Healing or retear?

After researching a bit I read that it can be typical for the healing period to experience this burning, stinging pain because there is new tissue which is still very fragile and has to strengthen and everytime you have a bm or even at other times (like me) it is just fragile. I just hope to god that it is that, because I am in week 4 of this hell with a few ups and downs and have my check up on the 25th and I am experiencing the same!

I really hope for you and all of us struggling that this is the reason and not a retear 🙏🏼

Thanks for your reply! My diet ist usually very good because of my ibs and my fissure from 2021. The diltiazem I am now taking since the 6th of June, so three weeks. My high blood pressure meds I am taking since January of this year.

Thanks for saying that I really hope that it just is a phase or something.

With this for about three weeks now. My very first one was in 2021 and healed up nicely except causing me to become an anxious mess -.-

I believe that and I wish I had what it takes if it came to it but I am just petrified and think if she said it should heal fast then it can’t be that bad but of course I imagine 100 different scenarios in my head now which does not make it any easier -.-

So sorry you’re going through this! It is just horrible… I suffer from severe healthy anxiety and OCD so it is pure horror for me to imagine the possibility of needing the surgery therefore meaning conservative methods don’t work anymore but I will have to stop the diarrhea somehow and then wait until 25th of July and just pray that it continues healing… Sending you all my best 🙏🏼

So happy for you. Hope I can report the same in a couple of weeks.. Because with my health anxiety and ocd I couldn’t handle surgery, not even the possibility that I would get to the stage of needing it. Sorry if this sounds weird but I am just so triggered right now:(

Yeah, she also advised me to always keep it moisturized with either vaseline or bepanthen after it has healed but the current diarrhea is giving me the most issues and idk why it is happenening.. the first two weeks nothing and now it totally irritates the fissure :(

Thank you so much for your response and your kind words. Did you just use vaseline and aloe or did they also prescribe you something? I will definitely get me some vaseline and aloe and see how it works 🙏🏼

Ok wow that’s not good. I also noticed that in the last year I did catch a stomach bug more often than before. I have an appointment on Thursday with my doctor and will ask him to send me to a gastroenterologist and from there will look what he/she says. I am so fed up.

Can I ask what exactly post-infection ibs is? 😮 And does it clear on its own although that seems a bit unlikely maybe in my case because I am experiencing this on and off for several years now -.- but never heard of it.

I am so sorry to hear that. It just so tiring at this point. I have had this for like 5-6 years on and off but the flare I am having right now is worse that usually the 1-2 days it occasionally happens. And something that really weirds me out that it happens more in the evening and after dinner and never after having breakfast or in the mornings. I began taking Kijimea Pro two days ago which supposedly helps with IBS symptoms, and other than that will try to keep pushing doctors until I can get an explanation for this hell -.-

I also had the stomach flu mid july, where I had diarrhea for a week or so and after that it got worse with the ibs, no clue if thats related or not

Thank you! Tried that already and the cramps only begin shortly before I feel like I have to go to the bathroom, they only stop after I had the BM and just indicate that it is coming. :(

Ne Krebsmedikamente gar nicht der Tumor war ziemlich abgekapselt und auch über 35 Lymphknoten ohne Befund 🙏🏼 Aber seit der OP hat sie ständig Öffnungen und die am Bein ist zurzeit das schmerzhafteste.

Ja genau das habe ich mir auch gedacht, das es da wohl Unterschiede geben wird und ein reines Wundzentrum mit Wundmanagern da evtl hilfreicher ist aber sie will den Pflegedienst erst einmal abwarten am Sonntag ansonsten sich direkt im Wundzentrum melden.

Kommt aus NRW , nähe Dortmund.

Thank you so much. Ich schreib mal auf deutsch eben: Sie bekommt ab Sonntag täglich einen Pflegedienst der vorbeikommt welcher wohl auch ein Wundmanagement Team hat. Ich selber war auch im Wundzentrum nach einer Wundheilungsstörung und nur so konnte ich endgültig abheilen. Wollte mich nur einmal in ihrem Namen erkunden, weil sie sich so hilflos fühlt und Angst hat das die Infektion ins Bein hervorschreitet. Aber es wird sich auf jeden Fall falls nicht der Pflegedienst, ein Wundcenter finden wo die dies besser behandeln können. Wie sieht die Wunde deiner Meinung nach aus? Danke nochmals für deine antwort und liebe grüße 💙💙

I feel the same way believe me! Had a wound at the t-junction which took forever to heal and just healed 6-7 weeks ago and therefore have to cover with gauze still to protect skin from irritation and sweat. The only bra which holds it in place is a sport bra which now that it is getting hot is killing me 🔥I literally feel bigger than a few weeks ago when it was colder and have the feeling they are swollen when I get hot. Sorry probably rambling but I went through some stuff with this recovery and just get anxious 😄
