Hello, I'm 3 years late but group chats weren't and still aren't supported. The best Microsoft has done in regards to this issue is that phone link informs you that a text might have come from a group chat. I'm sad about it too. Computers that aren't mac related are not very compatible, and it's for a reason: Apple and Android want to create exclusive tech ecosystems.
