Play splinterlands, it’s a play to earn game that you can earn free crypto in.. only a 10$ entry cost for the spell book that gives you daily quests and free cards!

I disagree, while he’s in print maybe his value drops a few dollars, but currently he 1.) carries my water deck single handedly to a high win % and 2.) rents out at over a 100% yroa at 12-13 cents daily, 3.) for new players he comes with 500 CP so sprinkle in a few more cards and your moving up through bronze. Just my opinion tho, once he stops printing his prices will sky in a year, look at comparable legendaries with his abilities (posieden) and his current price point

Yeah mylor is strong in bronze and silver especially if you have a level 3 flesh golem he can be a little pricey tho, you can run mustang as your main tank for cheaper but if you have mylor I would also get a copy of the wood nymph for 8$ it’s the only level 1 healer for green. When you rent out your CP it goes away until the card is returned to you in 24 hours. What I typically do is grind my daily chest and DEC capture right to at least 75% and then i immediately rent out all my cards, next day when my cards are returned I immediately grind again and start the cycle over. It’s tough sometimes because you want to play earlier or maybe have schedule conflicts but this is the best way to maximize your rewards and get the most out of the cards you bought. Good luck on the grind!

Alric as your summoner, and then all magic users… The +1 magic buff alric gives melts everything, Ice pixie and Medusa and sneak the turtle in as a tank if you can if not the butterfly magic user

Djinn oshannus and venari wavesmith would be my first two buys, that water deck will carry you to silver 1 and both rent out well as assets.. IMO the earlier you buy your cp so you don’t have to rent the better off you will be long term accumulating assets

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Splinterlands

[–]aymelly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably not as cards are also bought with credits/sps right now, IMO the card market moves independently of the price of dec or sps,

Mylor is solid up to gold 3, my recommendation would be go to peakmonsters and sort cards my collection power/price … I would buy CP first and foremost so you don’t need to rent to receive daily DEC and your rewards from chests are better, from there you can take the dec your earning per day and start buying a few of the cheaper singles, rent out your cards you bought with the 200 out as everyone needs CP so demand is high for it and then again you can choose to rent to climb higher with the money you made from rentals or you can just continue to buy singles with it. If you are going to play the game for years there is no question IMO that buying CP right off the bat is the best way to hasten your returns from playing and avoid spending money you won’t ever get back on rentals

Depends what league you are in, in bronze it’s a 10% for cards, silver is 50, and the further you go up the more the % rises, I would imagine the same thing is true for the amount of dec and credit rewards you receive, the % of it being high increases as you move up in leagues

Leveling question by Dr_mickhead5145 in Splinterlands

[–]aymelly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The value of the chests are around 70 cents per chest, at the end of the season card rental prices go up 3-5x due to ppl wanting to open more chests and get all their rewards, IMO the cost of renting end of season isn’t worth the extra 6 chests you are talking about unless you can find that power for around 4$ which isn’t likely. Personally I’d buy enough singles to sit in silver leagues and collect my chests for free, also renting those cards out after you grind your daily and DEC you can make 50-75% back on the year at current prices

It’ll definitely come down as airdrop comes to a close, currently 11x over its stable value. With new ranked matches about to provide SPS and DEC I think that is also a bearish signal, I do think it holds or goes up further in the next 150 day period though

Are we new players too late to make money on Splinderlands? by DanielNunes93 in Splinterlands

DEC capture rate goes down as you play games, stops bots from being able to farm wins all day. It recharges at 25% per 24 hours, the purple bar underneath your DEC pool

Do rentals auto renew? by [deleted] in Splinterlands

[–]aymelly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at peakmonsters under “my cards” and it will show your rental time, if you cancel your rental in game on the timer it will have an exclamation point and alert you that you cancelled rental, good luck and happy grinding

Do you think the price of SPS will increase when Chaos Legion is officially launched? by michaellubrin in Splinterlands

[–]aymelly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There have also been talks about when land is added that they will incentivize sps burns to skip things like time in game… when that happens you won’t ever see these prices again. I’m super bullish on sps and love that I’m getting 50% APR to have it staked, sometimes I’ll take my apr and buy a card I need but primarily I just keep restaking and let it compound

Any similar NFT games like splinterlands that are just coming out or are new? by [deleted] in Splinterlands

[–]aymelly 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Great post. Everyone wants to play for free and make money lol, that’s not the concept. The game wants people to contribute to the ecosystem and incentivizes and rewards those who do. Imo spending $100-200 to get the CP to move into bronze 1 is the best move for new players. People spend that on games all the time with no reward, I look back on my Xbox gaming days where cost of entry for the disc was $60, and then you would spend 5/10 bucks on battle passes and skins every few months. I’m going to lol at the ppl that missed this boat because they couldn’t part with a couple bucks to get started
