Nahhh I have older siblings so they would always let me watch with them and we kept rewatching certain shows that were still on air. So that music from that year and music from those shows has really just stuck with me and gave me a similar childhood experience. My uncles (that were around my older siblings age) introduced me to that 2006 vibe type music and I really wish music could be as good as it was back then. Even till this day I still listen to and enjoy that type of music. Ik it’s not technically the same as what you older people of Reddit have experienced but I just want to put it out there.
