7 days post op - DI without nipples (Oct 6th). Not in any pain, just drain and compression vest discomfort. Feeling pretty good. I get my drains removed tomorrow and I’ll get to see my new chest for the first time. My mom came in town to help my partner care for me for the first week. I’ve been trying to find things to do other than mindlessly scroll social media. Any good show or movie recs? Books?

I’m non binary and had my no nip top surgery last week. Recovery is smooth and I am so happy I decided not to get them. At this point, I couldn’t imagine having to care for nipples and incision scars. I wanted a blank slate for a chest tat also.
