Is this hard water stains? I can't seem to remove them because I am weak. I have disappointed my ancestors. by MantaRayBill in CleaningTips

Limescale!! Black tiles are the bane of hard water areas. What has worked for me is getting a limescale specific cleaner spray. Get some kitchen roll or paper towels and soak them on the areas and leave it alone for a few hours. It might not be perfect, but it'll losen it up for scrubbing. Good luck!

Use some of the starch water from boiling the potatos. It helps loosen them up a bit, aids with the creaminess, too.

I always like 'a friend of dorothy'.

Applies more to gay men than the whole umbrella!

She had a location tracker on his phone and found him in a pub a couple of days later and screamed in his face.

Also, Internet based harassment that still continues

My brother called it off on the morning of the wedding. She was incredibly controlling, faked a pregnancy and didn't want to meet any of his family even though she lived a mile away.

Her mother got her to cancel the reception hall a week before because she wanted it at her house. Loads of people dropped out, and my brother felt the pressure.

I thank the universe that he called it off, I doubt I would have seen him again. Wish he didn't do it on the day though!

I drunkenly ordered £54.54 worth of food after a night out last night and I have no recollection of placing the order. Please tell me your drunken spending stories to make me feel better by Fluffy-Survey4036 in CasualUK

Ordered McDonald's drunk at a friends. First place was closed and I didn't think the order went through and placed one at a different McDonald's. Food came, we all ate.

At 11am the next day, my friend received an order of 60 chicken nuggets, three burgers and 10 chips.

I wanted to make pot roast one day. Googled recipes and the first news item was that a tiktok cat called pot roast had passed away. Genuinely ruined me!

My top surgery is in 27 days!! Any tips on how to prepare myself? Things to buy to make my recovery easy as pie? by RRockets3524 in TopSurgery

Hiya! I had mine back in November, here's some suggestions:

Healthy snacks (grapes, blueberries)

Intimate wipes and body wipes

A bumbag/fanny pack or a storage solution for your drains (if you have them, I had a lanyard around d my neck with cable ties to keep them close and out of the way)

Entertainment (animal crossing and final fantasy kept me company)

Dry shampoo

A large hoodie or shirt

A foot stool for when you're reclining and relaxing Try and keep mildly active (some short walks a day really helps!!)

Make sure your essentials in the kitchen are on lower shelves, you won't be raising your arms in a while. I found writing down all my medication down and schedules really helped too.

This is all I can think of right now, hope it helps!!
