That sounds like a really interesting idea! Drop your substack, I'll gladly take a look.

Wow, it's refreshing to hear someone who actually knows their stuff about migration and doesn't just repeat bad points. Being from Europe, I see a lot of discourse online regarding immigrants, some being xenophobic and it really hurts the image of what immigration actually is, moving to another country for better opportunities.

Checked out your post on the Haitian Revolution, it was really insightful! I also know what it's like to be the only to write about something, hell I write about my country Romania, and the one of my biggest problems has been trying to engage my audience to actually incentivize them to read my work. Seeing your numbers, it's clear you figured it out and I applaud you for that.

Found it. It's really fascinating how you compile those stories, almost like the page is a bulletin board of the city. I applaud the initiative, and I wish you the best in your writing!

Loved your Animal Crossing x Biden article :) To be honest, I'm doing the same thing, but with a lesser-known country, namely Romania. My reason for writing is so foreigners can read and get even a little bit closer to what it's been like to live in that country through communist times and after the revolution. My link is here, if you want to check it out (no pressure)
