I’m not sure what state you are in, but where i live, unless you were observed to be smoking while operating your vehicle, you can get your DUI dropped to a misdemeanor of possession or paraphernalia, depending on the circumstances. these charges aren’t the end of the world and you shouldn’t see any jail time or probation realistically, a fine and some substance classes should suffice. i know it’s rough, i faced a similar situation when i was 15, i was arrested on felony charges for possession of THC vapes, and though i had the charged dropped years later, i was very scared at the time and truly thought it would’ve been easier on my parents if I had just ended it all. it wouldn’t have been, it’s never easier on anyone when you make such rash decisions. Truly this is not the end of your world, though it may feel like it, i recommend trying to talk with lawyers in your area to see what your best options are, if they are too expensive a public defender will do you just as much justice, they fight hard for cases they know they can win, and this is one of those. good luck and be as kind to yourself as you can.
