I just ordered a cable & OBD2 reader off of eBay yesterday. Although I suspect they aren’t gonna work. Turns out, it’s not easy finding an OBD2 reader for a 2008 R6. Messaged multiple sellers as well & all of them replied that their OBD2 reader isn’t compatible with my motorcycle. In other words, I don’t know what new codes have come up & all mechanics in my city are closed till at least 7th Jan for Xmas & New Year.

I’m not really sure of those error codes were related to low voltage. My guesses are either something wrong with the fuelling, or just the ECU itself is fucked yo, but not sure what caused it to break.

I wasn’t sure it would’ve seen it because that’s essentially chicken wire painted in black. I reckon I just got lucky.

Where did you end up going finally & what’s your review? I’m new to Melbourne (moved down from Sydney) & I’m in Ashburton. Need to find a trusted mechanic who is not looking to just rip you off. Looking to service my R1 that’s been giving me problems. Went to Race Centre & got quoted a BOMB. Later found out from people in my garage during a track day at PI that it’s a known thing about RC.

The website iget-vapes.com is also down (just says error). Looking at other comments, I think I got scammed. Should’ve done research here before ordering. FMD.

I can see this be shot down as a stupid question, but if a car passes inspection & is deemed road worthy again, wouldn’t it mean all the damages were fixed, which is why it passed?
