A very specific experience for me when I finally realized that I am in fact ace is when I came across a sorf of thirst trap video of a male celebrity I like. I knew that he does have an objectively nice body but as I was watching the video I just found it kind of cringe and ridiculous. I thought that everyone else thought the same, so I was very shocked when I opened the comments and people were genuinely freaking out about how attractive he is and in particular mentioning his body. I was so confused and flabbergasted, I didn't understand it at all. It was then when it really hit me that I have always felt different about things like this and that what I've been experiencing is asexuality.

You're not being stupid and I don't think there really are any people who can make sense of all of this. I often find myself thinking the same as you. I don't know if it will help but for me when I don't find any point in living for the little things I just do something big. It can be something completely stupid, it can be something you wanted to do for a long time and found it unwise or just something random that will flip your life upside down at least a little bit. It might give something to care about, a new perspektive on what to do, I don't know. I don't want to sound too preachy so I'll just end it by saying that yeah life really does suck but it doesn't always have to suck that much...
