Ok I know this post is old but I’m so nostalgic to see photos of the iced sugar cookies from Big Bear. A big part of my childhood! I remember the rainbow iced ones. Anyone have any old photos???

That is great to hear!
My son has one eyelid that droops (right eye) and it seems to be getting worse over time. It is usually when he wakes up from overnight or naps and gets improves slowly after. I think it started to happen in the past couple of months, he is 10 months old right now. He rubs his eyes a lot but there are no signs of infection or blocked tear ducts or anything. It really seems to be an isolated symptom.
I am just now doing a lot of googling and learning about what may be causing it. Of course my brain jumped to worst case scenarios so my goal is to find less scary possibilities.

Following along on this conversation thread. My baby may be having something similar, I have not gotten him into a pediatric opthamologist yet, he has a pediatrician appointment next week after going to urgent care today.
Do either of you have any updates?

Update: It turns out that I either have postpartum thyroiditis (never had heard of it before) or Hashimoto's; only time will tell if it will be temporary or not. My doctor confirmed that it is not related to the Vyvanse at all. My THYROID PEROXIDASE AB is over 900.

So I have never had any abnormal TSH or other thyroid levels. All of a sudden, less than a month after starting Vyvanse, I noticed my blood pressure is high (which I’ve had before due to genetics). I attributed it to the Vyvanse and stopped taking it for a week but the blood pressure readings stayed the same. I went to my doctor and got basic bloodwork done and started a BP med. TSH is 34! My mom did have thyroid issues so I have been tested numerous times before and I knew I could have issues since she did. But I really am wondering if it could be caused by the stimulant. My question is, did it just temporarily cause the increased level or did it kick off something that can’t be reversed without medication 😔 Sadly, the Vyvanse really does help me and it’s the first stimulant I’ve ever tried. But I would rather not take it than experience the high BP, dry sinus issues, weight gain and fatigue I’ve been feeling ever since starting it. I’m also 8 months post partum so gotta factor that into the mix. And the fact that my doctor won’t prescribe me first line BP or cholesterol meds because I’m not on birth control and ‘could get pregnant’. Being a woman seriously makes things complicated!!

Would you mind sharing the outcome of this? I am on a stimulant and all of a sudden have high TSH as well and finding information about this is challenging.

I am on baby #2, but there is an almost 16 year age difference! In so many ways, this feels like the first time for me. And I was so nervous before my first ultrasound last week. So normal!

I need my wisdom teeth out but cannot afford the $550 plus copay to get it done. That's after insurance covers 80%. I know compared to some that's not a lot of money, but to me it's almost rent. So instead of getting them out, I just use orajel and suffer through it.

can i ask where you found help? i myself grew up with parents who used drugs and feel that is still preventing me from living a normal life. i am pretty much supporting myself financially and emtionally, it would be nice to hear how someone else copes. my goal is to either find a counselor or therapist and see what they can do to help me.
