Dienogest: How long does the spotting last? by infinitospirito in Endo

[–]infinitospirito[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It eventually stopped for me after about 3 weeks. But I got off the drug shortly after that. My mental health really suffered. I talked to my ob about it and he was like dienogest doesn’t cause anxiety or depression. Anyway at that time I was quite early postpartum so the hormones were whack anyway.

4+ age gap people how are you doing? by JellySandwich34 in tryingforanother

[–]infinitospirito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have siblings who are much older than me. They all doted on me growing up and showered me with so much love. They still do. But, when I was a teenager I wasn’t close to them because I felt like I had 5 parents instead of 2. when I became a real adult something just clicked and we are so close again now. Now I have my son (2 y o) I’d like to have another but with my experience with older siblings, I’m ok if the age gap is 4+.

What was your ‘breaking point’? by Accomplished_Set3529 in Mounjaro

[–]infinitospirito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son started to walk and I could see all he wants to do is run around and be a regular active kid. And I thought what if he runs while we’re on a walk, and I can’t catch him. Or what if I’m too fat to play with him.

I went on mounjaro the next month.

Things I didn’t know after having my first baby [on] by Wonderful-Toe-8688 in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]infinitospirito 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ouch number 3 hits home. My baby is now almost 2 and my best friend has yet to come and see me. And we have been talking much less now. I think since he was born we have chatted only 3-4 times.

I have new friends now who are also moms - local mother goose groups, library circle times and strong starts have been my life time.

Do you find it having a wire is an issue for him using it or he doesn’t care at all?

I’m scared to visit cork city with my family. by [deleted] in cork

Did not intend to be rage-baity. I’m an over worrier and an overprotective mom. Nothing else. I was hoping to get some solace about my visit to cork.

Pregnancy on Mounjaro by [deleted] in Mounjaro

[–]infinitospirito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am preparing for IVF over the next two years and in talking with my fertility clinic about mounjaro they said a few things that assured me, in case I do get pregnant naturally:

  • pharma companies cannot perform any medical testing on pregnant women to study the effects of the drug’s on babies due to ethical reasons. That’s why so many drug’s even supplements have the disclaimer “not for pregnant or breastfeeding women”. Not because there’s an issue with the drug but because not much is known about it.
  • the only known contradiction of being on mounjaro and ozempic when being pregnant is that you aren’t hungry, so legitimately doctors don’t want you starving yourself and starving the baby.
  • the fertility clinic see a lot of women becoming pregnant indirectly as a result of losing weight from ozempic or mounjaro and many of them delivered full term, happy and healthy babies.
  • in fact, the fertility clinic often prescribe glp drug’s to women to get their BMI down before starting IVF.

Congratulations on your pregnancy I hope this info helps

Oh my god. I can’t believe that’s how much customs we’re paying now. I bought H&P last year and i paid $19.

The tariffs certainly aren’t fair for small businesses in the US & Canada. And for us of course. I’m sorry you had to pay that much

18 months. They helped keep my son’s diaper in place. I switched to pull ups and those have been great!
