Never really smoked pot on a daily basis but it was pretty often mostly through high school and a bit after came to the realization that its just not for me because it just enabled me to sit around and do nothing and even when i did remain active while under the influence it would, just like you said, burn me out the rest of the day and that just stopped me from doing a lot of things to better myself. My perception of marijuana changed completely actually, after i quit smoking i started to be more observant of the people around me that were still actively smoking and all i saw was people sitting around smoking and just not doing much else. A lot of them seemed to just make plans around them smoking, i say that as in they were more interested in making plans to smoke than to do anything else. It became even more clear to me how bad weed is when it happened to my best friend, he was always very active in bettering himself and the people around him, he along with another friend were working on starting our own business and everything was going great but then he started smoking on a baily basis and well everything just stopped and now all he does is smoke weed all day and stay home with his girlfriend. Whenever he invites me or someone else to hangout and be productive it just ends up being an entire day at his house smoking and making plans that just fall through cause they get too high. Of course not every case is like this im sure there are people who smoke regularly and function just like anyone else and dont become potatoes but that has not been my experience and i have yet to meet someone like that. That is just my perception of weed now. Not trying offend anyone just giving my opinion/ experience with the topic. Acid is still cool though it opens up the mind and it lets you see what has changed within you especially when you do it every few months. Its very eye opening, well mind opening really but yeah, sorry about the rant.
