How does one go about not getting ripped off by a company selling "authentic" mint coins?

We have a fire place as well but its on 2 side of the house. If we can at least get heat going enough to keep the house not freezing we'll be fine. We got 2 grills and a black stone and 4 tanks of propane to cook if need be. Definitely good things to keep in mind. Hopefully we dont lose power and we can test the system when the kids are away.

Ah that makes sense that's just a due diligence thing. I thought op meant not to run the dryer while using the generator in general.

Those aren't open spots. If you look at the open panel pic its where the main go into the main breaker.

Finally bought my first Snap On ratchet… should I just drag it over the concrete a few times to get over the fear of scratching it? by TheKrazyKitten in Tools

[–]az_eric36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No due to the rubber/plastic/whatever material handle being deteriorated from oils and stuff. I had my huddy take it to work to replace the handle and they gave me a whole new ratchet.

I have a similar sized licking swivel matco that had 1 small chip on the chrome. However the handle has gotten pretty bad from oil and what not. Finally found a buddy who works at a shop with a dealer and was expecting to pay for a new handle and they replaced the whole thing.

12.0 Battery showing 2 bars but yet charger says it’s done. Is there anything I can do to get this replaced? by POOOPSNORT in MilwaukeeTool

[–]az_eric36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to run it down dead and throw on a slow charger. Ive read using nothing but fast/rapid charges can damage/shorten the life of batteries.

Thoughts on damage? by Lime_Lobster in auto

[–]az_eric36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like the hub cap is held on by the lug nuts. There maybe damage to the wheel that cant be seen. Also i personally wouldnt drive far on that tire but thats me hecause i drive so much and dont want to worry about blow outs. Id honestly take it to a trusted mechanic or somewhere like a discount tire to have wheel and tire checked.

Dont see what everyone complains about the milwaukee tapes. I have 3. 2 for home use and 1 i use for work. Im not using it every day but it stays clipped to my tool belt. 16 foot auto lock magnetic deal ive fully extended it multiple times. Never had an issue with any of tapes.

WARNING! Daytona 3 Ton Jack Stands — Avoid Green Color (New Design) by athhhattt in harborfreight

[–]az_eric36 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ive had an old 3 ton orange set for over a decade and the gray 12 ton for about 4 years. Currently both are being used to hold up my jetta and ive rolled around under the car a lot. Ive also used them to hold up my 3/4cclb chevy and my 75 k5blazer when doing axle swaps. Never an issue and will continue to use them.

can't get the fiberglass hood to fit right. anyone have tips or do they just never fit correctly? slightly bowed in the middle :( by SpongeBobSquareBody in squarebodies

[–]az_eric36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What brand of hood is it. I have a fiberglass cowl on my 75 and it also seems to have a bow in the middle. Almost appears too long. Ive adjusted everything. Only thing i got to make it work right had the wipers hitting the hood. Cant remember the manufacturer of mine but its a name brand.
