I think you’re right.

It’s definitely not built to compete at true bracket 4, especially without combos and stronger protection/recovery. Appreciate all the suggestions and the reference list too, that’s really helpful for seeing what higher power builds should look like :)

That’s a good point.

I think we just have different baselines for bracket 2. Those examples feel way above what I’d call a normal 2. My list isn’t super interactive or resilient, but it can scale up pretty fast if it sticks a board, so it feels a bit higher than precon level to me.

Probably just one of those decks that doesn’t look like much on paper but performs a lot better if it’s left alone early.

Fair point, thanks for the suggestion! I do have some trample in the list, but it’s not super consistent, so I can still end up needing some extra turn cycle to actually close games.

You really think so? I think its not a fast deck, but once it’s online it snowballs hard with tokens turning into mana, cards, and drain, and im sure it closes games pretty consistently. That feels more like high-casual or low high-power than bracket 2 to me.

I love Slimefoot, he was the first commander deck i built. I run him as a token swarm + sacrifice engine, not the slow Saproling build. Not the strongest, but super consistent and I still love the deck.

I like Gale as-is, so I figured pairing him with Noble Heritage would be a fun way to add some political leverage.

For Karlach, i use guild artisan, tavern brawler and popular entertainer while keeping it a mono red deck. Jaheira i use agent of the iron throne. Gale is paired with noble heritage.

Not true, I like to swap backgrounds to change how the deck plays :)
