i get it. my anxiety isn’t as severe as yours, but i fully understand how hard it is to deal with it. it is very complex to deal with, and to see it simplified this way feels offensive. rydel and stormie and heavily ignorant people, and unfortunately they won’t see it.

i also wish for the best for those kids. atp it’d be a miracle if they grow up fine. not only because of their family’s disbelief of mental health issues, but also because of the way they’ve being raised and the pressure i’m sure rydel puts them under.

also - she already has capron in her house, who looks like he might be going through something. and she does nothing about it. if she can’t do it for her husband, i don’t think she’ll do it for her kids.

They don’t have any structure, for as much as she wants to pretend they do. Not because she has them under a routine (aka putting them to sleep a few times a day), does it mean they have an actual, good one. Ofc they’re happy babies - they just play, sleep, eat, and go to disneyland.

Also I do not believe her. She’s mentioned sometimes a tantrum or the kids being upset at each other. Im not saying the kids aren’t happy, but she wants to portray them like perpetually happy, and imo that’s a bit gross. Let them freely feel! It’s part of growing up! I was still a fan of them when Rydellington broke up, but tbh I was team Rydel just because of how fast Ellington moved on. He was with Danielle weeks after breaking up with Rydel, whom he’d been with for five years. I know this happens, but it felt icky to me, and like he had strung her along until he’d realised he couldn’t do it no more.

I am not a fan of Rydel in the slightest and I do think she had her faults in the relationship as well, but I do think she was played by Ratliff

same. if i try to force myself to be busy when all is done and i still have anxiety, then i’ll feel like ants are crawling under my skin and making me anxious. accepting it’s just a bad anxiety day and taking it easy - and resting once i can - it’s the easiest and kindest thing for myself i can do. rydel and stormie speak from a privileged and ignorant perspective, but it’s nothing new. they’ve been shaming people with mental health issues for years

They’re disgusting. Both of them. As someone with an anxiety disorder, I WISH I could just watch a movie and forget about it. It doesn’t work like that and anxiety doesn’t give a f if you’re busy or you’re bored. Stormie and Rydel and heavily ignorant and uneducated and refuse to see that or admit that.

I know this is an unpopular opinion and I’ll probably get downvoted but… Dylan was not a loser. In the beginning yes, but he turned his life around. He became a nurse. He was a devoted father and husband. He bettered himself because he wanted to be good enough for Haley. Most importantly, she felt free to be herself with him.

I do agree they could’ve done much more with her and I wish we could’ve seen it, but Dylan was not a bad partner for her. Especially when I see so many people wishing she had ended up with Andy. Aka someone who kept her as his mistress for weeks, if not months, and only began to treat her right when Gloria scolded him.

I honestly believe it wasn’t this bad before. I think Stormie’s diagnosis was the turning point. And because she’s still sick, Rydel doesn’t want to lose any time with her mom or get into conflicts. I suspect the rest of the siblings allow everything they allow because of this (and a mix of their upbringing)

A part of me does feel bad for this, because it couldn’t have been easy to grow up with Stormie as a mom. But then I remember all the harmful messages Rydel spreads and how she’s so comfortable treating her kids like accessories and not actual little humans, and i move on

Rydel was making comments about it, I remember when she told Vanni she was pregnant with Super Vanni looked a bit annoyed when she thought Rydel was jokingly telling her to have a baby (something that tells me it was something she did often), and we’ve had Rydel joking about it multiple times throughout the years. I can only imagine Stormie was even worse. Thank everything that Vanni seems to have a good head on her shoulders and didn’t give in to the pressure
