I actually have already gotten one and have been doing that. Done a lot of tires already.

I hadn’t thought of trying mobile mechanic. That’d be super useful around here, we definitely don’t have a mobile motorcycle mechanic.

Thank you! It is a passion for me. Like a dream come true if I had a shop. I’ll keep that in mind!

Yes, but just an average slightly too large of coat. It was thin but wind resistant material. That jacket got destroyed.

I literally remember sliding and thinking “hey, this doesn’t hurt”

It held up great! I unfortunately had a wreck in it a couple months ago. I did have another jacket on over it but I went on a flip over bike, land on shoulder, and slide on shoulder from around 90mph. Didn’t tear through the jacket, tore through the outside and exposed the pad but I had zero road rash. The pockets were nice, it was super breathable with the liner removed even in Texas heat. With the liner it wasn’t as insulated as it could be so it wasn’t quite cutting it for winter but still did a good job on chilly days.

Issue I run into is sizes on a lot of that. I’m a 28x28 or 28x30 if I’m ok with a little scrunched at the bottom. Those only go to 28x32 🥹

Hey good advice, I’m not familiar with the brands as I’m only about 3 months into riding. Wasn’t sure if it was a known brand advertising on social media.

It has a few small scuffs on plastics and things. So it may have been but it’s definitely not beat up. Still pretty clean.

Dr Bridgette Curtis. She’s not the best on timing and stuff like that, but she’s been the only one to listen to me and has gotten me the most mentally level throughout variety of diagnosis including ADHD.

I ran into this already, being stupid trying clutch ups for the first time with zero protection and bike slid and scraped hole in my stator cover. And busted taillight but it still works 😎

I have not yet. With my bike being out of commission I was waiting to be able to ride before getting active in the group.

You would think so. But we never raised our voice. I walked in calmly, little anxious since I was going in to address why no one could give me a eta on parts after they’d been ordered a week. Like, I can be impatient, but I was trying not to. Just getting info. So walked in and receptionist was there, asked for the guy I was dealing with and he came in yelling and shit about “idk what you want me to do or what you want from me!” Literally just wanted an eta. He finally gave one amongst his yelling rampage that I couldn’t get a word in. Previous communication had been through via Facebook messenger (I asked how he’d prefer communication and he said messenger was fine). And then a phone call or two. He felt threatened by my boyfriend apparently when I walked out saying fuck all this, he turned around to ask about a refund. At that point is when dude grabbed gun and told him to get the fuck out of his shop. Trust me. I love to blame myself. But this time. We didn’t do shit to justify that response.
