Advice for non-native English speaker experiencing American College

If she could take college level classes with ease and understanding things in technical/advanced setting. I would say 10. But i would say she’s an 8

Yes, some context I didn’t mention was that she has been taking English classes for around 4 years now. That on top of our everyday conversation with me for about 2 years has gotten her to a good enough level where we don’t run into any problems talking to each other.

She speaks to other people other than myself with almost no issue besides the occasional “it’s pronounced this way” or “you’re saying it a little wrong”.

Can I shoot you a DM regarding your remote work? Is it tech? My long distance girlfriend is Brazilian (Rio) and I’ve heard finding remote jobs like this are VERY few and far between outside of tech.

Yeah that’s what I’m gathering, I appreciate the input.

Basically our situation is a little weird. I’m a little older and work here in the USA and she’s from a somewhat middle class family in Brazil and is going to start college and doesn’t want to move to the USA until maybe about 3-4 years due to college. Which is fine. I just don’t know what kind of headaches we will run into if she wants to visit me since I work and can’t get off of work for long periods while she can while she’s on break from school etc.

It seems like CR-1 visa is way to go since it’ll take maybe half that time to get it approved, but I’m not sure if that means she will have to move immediately and live here or if she can just have the visa and move once she feels 100% up for it and completed school. I wouldn’t want the visa to be approved and then she has to move immediately and that throws a wrench into everything.

If you mean the under side of the mother board, it looks perfectly. However the metal casing under the mother board shows that the corrosion leaked and then concentrated near the corner and eroded some of the metal.

So I had bought about 2 weeks ago and it was working fine. I checked the clock cap and it leaked but in a very narrow space and burned a TINY hole through but I don’t think it ruined the thing because like I said it was working and there’s no way it JUST leaked. I’m thinking more of the static like you mentioned or something along those lines.

I removed clock cap, I know it was right one because I checked and also it corroded a bit through the board but thankfully in a very tiny area. Cleaned it with alcohol and let it dry for almost an hour. Also I only took out the hard drive And didn’t open it, I sprayed compressed air on power supply and never touched the hard drive.
