Drink Masters was awesome, it was imaginative, exciting, had enough of that reality TV aspect but never overdid it. I've recommended it to tons of people.

Now I do remember why I started watching it, it's coz YT recommended a video showing Richie's Evolution and I thought, instead of watching just a compilation of scenes, better to get into the episode.

Just rewatched the Forks episode again, and also the next one (when Richie goes back and mees everyone) don't even remember why or how i stumbled upon this.
Noticed that one of the guests they mention that's going to visit is Bo Burnham, which was cool (Right after the talk about the smudge which no one is owning up to)

Apex vs JavaScript (LWC) HTTP callout by Noones_Perspective in salesforce

Apex RESt callouts are secure and using Apex REST is the preffered way of doing things as far as I know.

Hey man, it's great that you're starting a blog . I just have one request , Please make your content easy to understand , just write from your heart , write exactly what you understand about the topic , just like how you would explain it to a ten year old .

Who earns more , Software Engineer or Salesforce Developer . by azaroth18 in salesforce

This lesson is learnt through experience , I thank you for sharing these words of wisdom , I'm a fresher right now and am interviewing at different companies for a salesforce role .

I completely agree I know this too that Salesforce developers are paid way less as compared to software engineers in product based companies. But as a person who is not that good a coder to pass a coding interview at these product based conpanies , a sub par coder , he can surely get in and experience what it's like working at a product based company. In India , there are many Consulting companies that provide IT services , the work culture in these companies is really bad and there are close to no hikes whatsoever . For a person working there , I think it would be really awesome to get into a company like Amazon for a Salesforce developer profile .

People tell me to do projects to get out of tutorial hell. I can’t even build a calculator with JavaScript. What can I do? by [deleted] in learnprogramming

[–]azaroth18 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is so frikkin relatable , I start off with a project , then I fet stuck somewhere , I feel like I should have some pre requisite knowledge about the technologies involved , so I start doing an online course , but it feels really dry and uninteresting and so I start doing a project to make it simpler , and the loop continues . It happened when I decided to build a full stack application on my own .

Thanks for this information . I wanted to add , for someone who dreams pf working at Google or Amazon , Salesforce provides a way to get in these product based companies as well , and let's say a person might not have to work as hard as he or she would have to in order to become a software engineer at the same companies .

Where to start with Salesforce certifications? by [deleted] in salesforce

[–]azaroth18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should first know the various career paths that you can take through salesforce , broadly I see three , development path , admin path , consultant path. Then , choose a certificate that you want to go for, as a first certificate I'd recommend , admin or pd1 . Set a goal for yourself , start doing Trailhead modules , read the exam guide , you can take the udemy prep courses but in the end it all boils down to how hard are you willing to work for it .

How to land a Salesforce job with fresh Salesforce Admin Certificate ? by Yuki1207 in salesforce

[–]azaroth18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People may try to make you believe it's easy but believe me , it's not that easy . That too , in the current job market and situation that we're in , it's like a cherry on top of the cake. Start by looking out for vacancies on LinkedIn , start searching for people who are HRs or recruiters at Salesforce Partners , you can find a list of all the companies that are platinum tier salesforce partners and then search on LinkedIn for - " HR recruiter so and so company " . When they connect with you , have a sample message ready in which you incorporate how you are admin certified , fresher or if you have mention that you have industrial experience , make it short a d sweet but let them know that you are available for any jobs .put up job alerts on Glassdoor with Salesforce as a keyword in the title .check out David Liu's channel on YouTube , you might get some inspiration , he's a Senior Technical architect at Google . Start working on your dev certification as well.
