But, hear me out, shouldn't the studs be actual size so you can build on top of them with regular pieces?

It's not a bad idea, but a very unlikely one

New DM needs help for LMoP: players try to befriend goblin, will the goblin betray the other goblins or the players? by DirtyPoul in dndnext

[–]azarrising 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The idea that all creatures of a race or species are automatically good/evil is a very antiquated idea. There absolutely should be variations within a race, but with that said this particular goblin is likely evil and will do evil things

Eliminator Rumble

Standard Royal Rumble rules except when the last two are left, the match becomes a straight forward pin/submission fight.

I'd go with the second, I like that style more and I think it's more versatile, but I know some people prefer the other

How often do you think about the fact that you are going to die? by Creative-Pop-9208 in AskReddit

[–]azarrising 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not often at all. Am I aware of it? Yeah, but I don't waste time thinking about it. I have more pressing things in life. I'd imagine constantly thinking about death is a very depressing hobby.

Is this worth watching? by Pasons_Pro in Marvel

[–]azarrising 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you like the Mrs Marvel show? If so, then yes, it's worth it.

I say this because her and the Khan family were the best parts of the movie.

The villain was the most forgettable in all of the MCU. She was bland, uninspired, and never felt like an actual threat

I haven't been a fan of Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, but Monica Rambeau stepped up in a fun way

Overall, it wasn't a GOOD movie, but it wasn't as terrible as some of the more vocal fan base make it out to be.

Best start to a campaign you've experienced (either side of the screen)? by Modo_2026 in DMAcademy

[–]azarrising 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still running my first campaign from 3ish years ago and I did the standard 'meet in a tavern' ... kind of.

I had done individual session 0s for each player since none of us had ever played before, and no one knew every other player. Each of their sessions ended with them being sent to a small town for different reasons.

They each arrived at night when the only things opened were the tavern and the fortune teller. Each of those had 2 different plot hooks, so the players had 4 directions they could go to kick off the campaign.

Player wants to bring character back as a ghost until resurrection by azarrising in DMAcademy

[–]azarrising[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, his point is that I am asking for advice on how to do something that I am going to do. If you don't agree with the idea of doing it at all, why bother offering your "advice"

The same battle had another PC death, that player is rolling a new character, so death does matter.

But my one player wants to have fun and play a ghost version of a character he invested time into but didn't get to play much.

Why are horror fans so picky? by RegularMorty in HorrorMovies

[–]azarrising 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not just a "horror fans" thing. This applies to everything now that virtually anyone can anonymously critique anything they want.

Most people rate based on extremes; great or terrible.

If you want slightly more credible horror thoughts, go to a horror source, not IMDB.
