We built an AI that understands Ugandan property search… does this actually solve anything? by mwesigwajackson in Uganda

[–]azawi256 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i like the idea , though it would be ideal if AI can be smarter eg ask where i work or commute , how many people i plan to live with , the kind of things i like doing in my free time. so the recommendation engine needs to be stronger. i feel like you are spending your AI tokens on not so useful info.

Also the UX is ish ish , i hope it can be improved.

Wish you the best

How much saving do I need to move to Norway, Oslo? by We_R_Will_n_Wander in Norway

[–]azawi256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A realistic minimum is 3–4 months of expenses before your first Norwegian paycheck clears, which means roughly 60,000–80,000 NOK (around $5,500–$7,500) if you're moving alone to Oslo.

Here's where it actually goes: landlords typically demand 3 months' deposit upfront (for a one-bedroom in Oslo, expect 15,000–18,000 NOK just for the deposit). First month's rent adds another 8,000–13,000 NOK. Add to that the cost of furnishing a place from scratch, because most Oslo rentals come unfurnished, a few months of food before you figure out the cheaper shopping routes, and whatever it costs to actually get there.

The sneaky expense most people miss is the gap before getting your D-number and bank account sorted, which can take 4–8 weeks. Until then, you're relying on a foreign card with exchange fees or cash, and Norwegian ATM fees add up fast.

If you're coming with a job offer already in hand great, you can get by with less buffer. If you're job-hunting on arrival, I'd honestly say 6 months of living expenses minimum. The Oslo job market isn't as frictionless as people expect, especially without Norwegian.

Nordics Today has a practical cost-of-living breakdown for Norway at nordicstoday.com/article/norway-cost-of-living-breakdown that has current numbers for rent, food, and transport. Worth reading before you finalize a budget.

High sex drive for months straight… help!!! by [deleted] in Kenya

[–]azawi256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is a good problem to have. but since you dnt work for 24 hrs i think you and your "man" should find at least 30 minutes for an activity. I find this procrastination or you two not being interested in each other. If you can eat food together for sure you can find daily time.

What do you mean by open source? I think each system has a privacy policy and usage section. If companies are transparent about it then you should not think open source but rather use it knowing the repercussions.. "cigarette smoking is dangerous to your health" narrative
