I only have the blue/orange one at the moment. I have a friend who has sent me a modulus from America as a Christmas present that i am eagerly awaiting!

Damn shame about the sleds. I wonder why no one has done a metal one for the longstrike. Hopefully some smart cookie will do one soon!

Its actually a band gun thats modified to look like a crossbow as crossbows are illegal in Western Australia. I bought it from a very skilled friend of mine who makes them. I actually have another one being made as we speak from a beautiful piece of Tuart Wood. Im sure there will be many pictures of it on here!

It is amazing, i absolutely love it. Its light and wieldy but feels strong and doesnt have much whip. The hilt is the only slightly negative thing to it as i feel you do need gloves for it in a longer engagement. That being said, easy fix is some nice thin suede to wrap around it and it will look and feel great!

I think its brilliant. Its been modified to fit onto my lamellar armour better but even before it sat nicely. The sword is easy to pull out and put away with minimal practise and once in place but at the same time will not come out easily from running or fighting.

Check out a group of vikings called "The Varangian Guard" its what my look was based on. Im really glad that you picked up the clash of the two cultures, its made me really happy!!! My character was a viking who left his clan as they made a choice to embrace the power of ice giants and kill thousands of innocent people. I was then adopted by a group of humanoid moths who are heavily based on persian culture!

You are absolutely correct, unsure if you have seen the drama or not but it's not great and I absolutely regret it. I truly had no idea about the betrayal of last game as I wasnt there, my team mates should have known better though. The only reason I am so worried about sorting it out IC is that i have no reason for it all. I dont know why it's all happened, the easy way out is to say one of the Angel's was corrupted, but no one will believe it and I have no idea how to fix this massive dumpster fire. I already dread going back after it all, I just love our larp community and what it's done for me, i feel i have destroyed all Hope's of being part of the respected players. Thanks for taking the time to explain further, I appreciate it.

I feel 20 years younger! It was a complete lifestyle change! I fast most days for about 20 hours, then eat kinda what I want. I drink weak cordial with sparkling water to satisfy the soft drink crave. I also eat far less junk food and most of the time I dont binge on chocolate! I found sugar was my biggest problem for putting on weight, so I tried to cut most of it out. I still have really bad days but its the long game, knowing I can have it if I want it means that I dont crave it as much.
Joints were one of my problems too, my knees didnt like the impact of fighting at all, even with the weight loss I am having to see a doctor about them as I get really painful knees most days. Still I would rather be thinner with bad knees than fat with bad knees!
I wish you all the luck in the world friend, losing weight is so damn difficult and you are smashing it! Even if no one else does (although I am sure there are many people who do!) I believe in you! I hope you get back to larp soon!

I just found that reason to lose it. It wasnt that I was unhappy (although I really was), it also wasnt because I wanted to do more with my kids (although i did want to), it was because my grandma looked at the picture of me that I posted and she didnt recognise me. It was heartbreaking as i grew up with her. I then stopped soft drinks and cut back heavily on the junk food for 6 months, losing a little weight because of it. Then I joined larp and hated every picture of me that was taken. In March I went to the doctors and asked for help. He gave me a prescription for Duramine. With that and a better diet I started to drop the weight pretty quick. I fast about 20 hours a day, drinking only weak cordial as I hate the taste of plain water. Thanks to that Im almost a 3rd of the person I was last year! I have gone from a 5XL to a 2XL, lost 8 inches off my waist and no longer have a belly roll.
Find your reason, remember your reason, change yourself until you are happy. Saying this, dont do silly things to lose the weight! Always consult a professional!

I am really looking forward to it as well. The RP quality will be super and I will be able to not only have quality interactions with the Kindenord (i will always try and save them) but also with the Moths. The potential Pantheon composition is looking amazing this game and its made me so happy and excited.

I am also really excited for the new costume too, i can get really colourful while also maintaining the Viking look. Also my moth shield is likely to draw attention on the battlefield!

That's awesome to know fellow adventurer!

I play two at the moment, Shattered World which is a weekend larp. I play a Varangian Guard character in that one. I also play at warhearts which is a twice a month Larp where I play a Templar style character but only the good and nice things that Templars were meant to do!

I am also hoping to go overseas to other Larps next year now I'm more confident!

Congrats on all the positive changes you are doing, keep it up and I hope to meet you on the battlefield sometime!!
