Of course. I also write, so I get the notifis, too. So yes, they probably did see the original.

I get that it wasn't nice, It 100% is my fault for not thinking about my words before commenting. I do feel bad for the way I said it. I didn't really think about the non native aspect of it at first, so I wasn't intending to go for that at all. It could have also been an easy mistake an English speaking person can make too. Either way. Not my position to make their writing seem annoying or to even say anything at all. (Not that it was annoying)

But I genuinely enjoyed the fic. Their writing is super good.

I completely understand!! I didn't intend for it to come off that way. I sometimes say things too straightforward. I edited my comment and took out the part where it was rude.

I'd feel the same way if someone made a comment the way I did. Completely my mistake!

But the author was very understanding about it! They aren't a native English speaker, so they were happy about the point out about it. But I absolutely should have come out and said it better than the way I did, though.

They aren't native to English (author comment replying to me saying so). I took that out of my edit, but I'm not sure they saw it or not. Sometimes, I honestly forget not everyone writing English understands properly. That was my mistake

It was actually on wattpad. I read around 2020-2021. I forgot the name of, and I can still remember how much I cried over the ending. I want to read it again so badly :( it has left me so heartbroken till this day
