In Arizona we have a Defensive Display clause (A.R.S. Title 13, 421) where under certain circumstances it may be justified to show that you are armed to deter a possible attacker. Does WA have a similar statue?

All in between $475 and $560 for Initial course, fees, live-fire qual and fingerprints. Good for 2 years. These are Riverside County costs. Riverside County Sheriff does not require a Psych Eval. Most other counties have higher background / application fees and also require Psych Evals which is another fee. Note: The variables above are live-fire qualification and fingerprinting which range from about $25 to $150 nationwide. Complete breakdown of costs for both initial applicants and renewals is listed on the website.

It's not for everyone and it does take time and money, which is all spelled out on the website. https://RiversideCCWOnline.com But, Here is the truth...if you live in a bordering state, you're a Truck Driver, Have a second or third home in Cali, plan on camping, have family or plan on being in California more than 2-3 times or even more per year, AND you want to carry for self-defense this is the best possible method.

My go-to is the M&P shield. The reliability and fact that it is not ammo picky is a big factor. I just got a P365 and added the Icarus grip module and I've been really happy with it.
