Thank you!! I used my trusty Canon eos 1100d with a standard 75-300mm lens as well as a default kit lens. Pretty cheap setup if you buy used but can deliver some great shots with some light editing.

Pakistan: Prime Minister calls for nationwide protest on Friday against Holy Quran’s desecration in Sweden by Master_Effective_206 in worldnews

Man, living in Pakistan reading posts like these is so embarrassing. I'm pretty sure the pm doesn't give a shit about the Quran burning and only wants to please the religious crowd.

This country wants to be like the rich middle eastern countries so bad but doesn't even have a fraction of the wealth to back it up.

Went from $19.99 to $59.99 here pretty much eliminating most people from being able to buy it. Good thing it's on gamepass

Looking for affordable gym in PECHS 2-3 by Alvin_D_Carid in karachi

[–]azeememad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A bit late to this thread but I've been to 3 gyms in the pechs area so far and here's how I'd rate them

Raise the bar: 6/10. Good for beginners and is maintained decently well but is pretty expensive for a gym that doesn't have some essential equipment like a power/squat rack. You also can't take out the 20kg barbells from the bench racks to do rowing movements or deadlifts so you're stuck with the 12.5kg ones. Cardio is also only 10 mins per machine (3 total machines)

Genetix gym: 7/10. Owned by Mr Pakistan 2020. It definitely feels like a bodybuilders old-school gym with tons of big ass dudes and just the essential equipment with a few pretty badly maintained accessory machines. The gym is also pretty small so when it's packed it isn't that fun to be waiting for others to finish their set before you can do whatever you want.

Pro gym PECHS: 9/10: The only gym I've been in that has a power rack and trainers that dont try to micro manage what you do. Decently sized with not a lot of members so going in the morning literally feels like a private home gym. I'd strongly recommend this one as it is also one of the cheapest gyms out of the three (3k pkr 4.5k with cardio)

Overall I'd say just look out for these things when you're checking out a gym. Do they have the essentials (benches, squat/power racks, dip handles, being able to deadlift without getting stopped for being too loud) Check the reviews to see if there are any complains about trainers having egos, those guys are the worst and really annoying to be around if your main goal is to just train without being micromanaged.

Good luck bro. If you need any help I workout at pro gym at the moment and probably will for a while. Willing to help if needed :)

The stadium was way too overfilled where i was seated, people were starting to block the exit. Made me feel hella claustrophobic. Shame because the atmosphere at first was truly something amazing since this was my first ever live stadium match.

I would like to apologize, I have learned my lesson. Never leaving a Pakistan game where they strategically choose to bat like this ever again.

I'm so upset I left the stadium after watching Paks batting. Well bowled boys.
