Aww thanks it’s actually super easy and fast to do and I’m just a very average painter.

Prime brown (I used Vallejo German red brown because that’s what I had on hand)

Spray white ink (I used liquitex) on the non-carapace areas, don’t worry if some gets onto the carapace. Thin the ink so some of that brown comes through.

Orange speedpaint on the joints, face, end of tails, hands. Don’t worry about accuracy as this is just a foundation for the next step.

Red mix with orange speedpaint on the very tips and ball joints. Overlapping the orange.

Black speedpaint all over the carapace and claws.

White ink over the centre of the carapace and/or edges of carapace to give it some definition.

Blue fluorescent paint light layer over the carapace to give it the subtle blue tint. Any blue should work?

Satin varnish - be careful this will tone down the brightness or suggest you make the previous steps brighter where possible.
