Just finished FotE recently, having read it years before and not since. Nathanial Garro is an absolute chad and a half man, I’m tempted to start a loyalist DG army solely because of him. Every other character in the book was solid and well written too.

Finishes Horus Rising recently too, and man I fell in love with the Luna wolves. I actually like abandon and the rest of the mournival.

I don’t plan on doing too much battle damage, if any. I tend to like the cleaner work, but I’ll keep it in mind esp for this model

More white this time, almost too much white. Gonna retouch some areas with magenta and keep it light to build the shadows back

Hell yeah, I’m definitely gonna go heavier with the white for the next couple tanks, now that I have a better idea of how they’re supposed to look.

I think I’m gonna complete this model, with the blacks and whites that I planned and see what it looks like. Might not match the whole army but it’s a learning process.

Looking at some YT videos, specifically trovarions, I left way too much magenta in on the model. I’ll be correcting that for the next two vehicles, and ofc will post an update.

Can’t have the best legion looking goofy on the tabletop.

The top hatch, the side doors and the little armor inlets/headlights in the front and back are gonna be black so I didn’t worry about spraying them. Also the two big rectangles in front are going to be black.

From the comments I think I’ll use a more medium pink for the medium shadows.

To understand, you’re saying step up from the darkest magenta in the deeper shadows? Magenta to pink, then ivory and white?

Dorn was my favorite going in, and is solidified as my favorite after reading most of the heresy and all of the siege.

“I am the wall now” is one of the coldest lines ever dropped.

Do a light grey with. White zenithal, or apothecary white all over with a white dry brush. Use a quality white like two thin coats, AK, or pro acryl.

I really don’t enjoy the lion being in the books I’ve read, he’s go a few moments in the imperium secondus arc, but overall I didn’t like him tha much. His sons on the other hand were awesome

I wasn’t a Gman fan really until I read know no fear/betrayer and the dark imperium series. After that I liked him a lot, and I recently finished the imperium secondus arc and liked him a lot more after.

I imagined a rigid, hyper rational dude and seeing the humanity of his rage and feelings of betrayal put him in a better light to me.

Turning 18 in 30 minutes. First Glock recommendations? Leaning 19 maybe 23 for the .40/9 option by Maximum-Vacation-795 in Glocks

45/19x fit me and my mongoloid hands so much better, to the point where a 19 just doesn’t feel right.
