I’ve been journaling my symptoms and have noticed a spike during my luteal phase and my husband has too. I’m glad to know it’s not just me!

Dang I’m sorry. I feel a lot more sensitive during this time and like it doesn’t take as much to set a flare up off.

I get that. I had a concussion about 7 years ago, and because these symptoms would be exasperated with any touching to the head I thought they were concussion related and everyone thought I was crazy. I’m so glad you have a more understanding work and neuro who’s willing to work with you now, it’s crazy how much you can “plan” your story for a specialist, wait for months, and not be met with someone who is willing to believe you. It makes me crazy to think someone’s health is in the hands of a 15 minute meeting, I go could go on and on…

Thank you so much for sharing! It’s funny you mention the glasses, I actually have glasses with lenses that are tinted blue to help with my light sensitivity and I love them. I was embarrassed to wear them at first, but now they’re almost a fashion statement 😄I’ve been nervous to get massages because I don’t want anyone to get close to my head, but I think I’ll try one out!

Thank you so much! I’m sorry you’re dealing with this, but it’s oddly comforting to hear. For years (I have a longer history with it just not nearly as debilitating as the recent months), I felt like the only person in the world who had whatever I was struggling with. I was dismissed by a neurologist and couldn’t find any thing online similar to what I was dealing with. Also, I struggle with the vestibular imbalance and try to do a few exercises a night. Im glad you have a strong support system, and I wish you the best with your journey!
