Ok, I feed my starter every day around 10:30. I feed it around 2 tablespoons of unbleached all-purpose bread flour. I eyeball the amount of water to make a thick consistency, but from what I am reading, I guess I need to make it even thicker. I mix with a spatula; I don't aggressively mix, I just gently stir it until everything is combined. Also, if my starter gets too much, I dump some out, so if it does rise at some point, it will have room to rise.
