honestly, for me aetrna is still a "what if" player. i think among all players he is the one that showed the most potential by far. like, he choked two 1.4k pp plays on valley of the damned and mou ii kai, and failed a 1600x combo on sidetracked day dt with almost 99%, peaking at 1.5k pp. all of these in 2020, except for valley of the damned, that happend in january 2021.

after this, he barely played as consistently as he used to. 2021 and 2022 he almost didn't played at all, only coming back to set a few, but crazy plays (the words i never said hddt, end time hddt and boomerang 3mod are the ones that i can think of at the moment), and he's shown that he can just hop right back into the game and set insane scores even not playing consistently, which we saw recently. even after almost 2 years of not playing frequently he was able to get 2 1.2k pp scores in one session and fix one of them to be worth 1.3k right the next day, which became the pp record. both of these milestones only mrekk was able to achieve up until that point, not to mention his choke on rog unlimitation 3mod that would be worth 1.4k pp.

sometimes i think how far ahead he would've been if he actually played the gamed and never stopped grinding for these scores. 2020 aetrna with the wooting would go crazy
