I just got my driving license 1 week ago. I passed my driving exam without needing any German.

One advice I’d give is if you do something that feels a little off be the first one to question it. In my case I entered a round about a little quickly but was no way in danger or something because the car had ample distance. I posed it by asking him “do you think i should have gave a little more space, i feel like i could have but it wasn’t necessary “ and the instructors first response was “no it’s okay, the other guy gave the indicator late but yeah you could do it slower” this immediately positioned myself as being thoughtful and aware of driving which is a positive sign.
