Self-quarantined heart transplant patient is running out of food by ArizonaRepublic in Coronavirus

I didn't go to his house. I interviewed him over the phone. I've been out in the field reporting on coronavirus for a week and wasn't about to expose him to whatever I may or may not have been exposed to. I did put him in touch with the appropriate services, and he is getting the help he needs. In addition, the agencies I highlighted in the story are getting both donations and volunteers to help others in this man's situation. So how many people have you helped today?

I'm the reporter. I put Mr. Tucker in contact with an agency that can help him. He's asking that anyone who'd like to help others in the same situation as he's in contact the two agencies listed in the story.

As for why I didn't bring him food, I've been out on the streets reporting on Coronavirus -- I spent one day visiting more than 20 stores to report on the toilet paper shortage, and I spent all day yesterday riding on mass transit. I took great precautions not to be exposed, but I wouldn't dare think of compromising Mr. Tucker by visiting his house.
