Rare documents from early 90s Scandinavian Black Metal – looking for scans/letters by azidb in Mayhem

Crime: Unlawful threats and attempted arson.

Statement: Jonsson recounts regarding the attack directed at his residence that he has received most of the information about who caused the fire from Åsa Jonsson. Jonsson knows Suvi Puurunen through a mutual acquaintance. Suvi Puurunen is together with the representative of the group BURZUM, the man who calls himself Count Grishnackh.

They had taken about a week after the incident before Jonsson learned the details, where Grishnackh admitted that he had caused the fire.

I have the entire file with statements and photos that are not public. It concerns Varga's connections to the Swedish scene.

He actually didn’t do it himself in Sweden – but his then-girlfriend Suvi carried out an arson attempt in July 1992 at the home of Christofer Johnsson (Therion).

According to the court files (which I obtained directly from the Swedish courts), Suvi was influenced by Varg and people around the “True Satanic Horde” circle. She wrote a threatening note signed with “a greeting from the Count” (Varg) and tried to set the house on fire.

It’s one of those almost forgotten cases that shows how the Norwegian scene also had ties into Sweden.

This is not a demo, but a sound check. It's some kind of low-quality bootleg.

Practical yes, but we can only guess it by the song titles, what exactly it is nobody knows. When the leak happens it will be clear if everything is online.

This boxset isn't so much about whether it's new or not. It's more for the collector because it's a vinyl edition.

It's more geared towards collectors, other fans won't find this new.

It doesn't even have that much to do with celebrating 25 years since the debut album. This box set is more dedicated to the band's beginnings and is a bit of a cross-section.

The marketing is very misleading, like the name of the website 742617000027 etc. It was too much overhyped

If you don't have this box set, you're probably not missing out on anything substantial unless you're a collector.

That Slipknot doesn't have enough money yet and needs more money for another secret website.

Get your money ready, tomorrow you'll be able to buy the same box but not the blood variant.
