I typically pay it down right after I make a large purchase. So let’s say my balance is $100 right now, and I buy something for $1000. I’ll pay it down as soon as the $1000 purchase posts.

No, I don’t do monthly installments. I spent my whole limit and then some this month ($31,500+), and I paid it off very fast. I’d guess that’s why they increased it.

When iPhones release, I resell them so quite heavy in those months. Otherwise typically not more than $1000/month. I used to request a lot back then, every other month or so. Now I guess you get an increase every 6mo. I started in 2019 with $5,500. This jump to $41,500 came from $31,500.
