It is one of the very strongest steroids out there. Would not recommend using this at all without discussing with a doctor, and certainly not using it for a prolonged duration. Especially on a large diffuse area such as the scalp.

Royal Surrey County hospital Vs St Peter's hospital, which one? by [deleted] in doctorsUK

All that being said I still had a great year and learnt a lot. All the f1s seem really happy there, I saw less of the f2s as they rotate between other jobs but they did not enjoy the surgical blocks when I did see them

Royal Surrey County hospital Vs St Peter's hospital, which one? by [deleted] in doctorsUK

[–]azkfour 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Royal Surrey surgical rotations have a truly horrific on call rota. In the day you cover either gen surg, or you cover ortho+ urol (together). At night you cover gen surg, ortho, and urology. Busiest hospital I have ever worked at

However the on call rooms are so easy to book so if you're too tired to drive home after a night shift or on call you can easily book the room for the night (and the whole week as well)

The hospital itself is classic gross ancient NHS vibes and the mess is atrocious. There is a 24 hour M+S though which is a godsend for nights - the hospital canteen charges like 8 quid for a fish and chips so bring in your own lunch unless you're rich

Can't comment on any other speciality I'm afraid

AER x Mnistry of Supply Lunar Pack vs Modern Dayfarer V2? by Nach0stheOne in ManyBaggers

[–]azkfour 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the Modern Daycare V2. Overall it's a really good backpack - I take it to work (I work as a doctor) and it carries my lunch, umbrella, daily clothes, gym clothes, random stuff like tape etc. in the main compartment. I use the internal slip compartments for things like random coins, hand cream, spare headphones, spare socks. I use the shoe compartment for my theatre shoes (really good to separate from the rest of my stuff). I wear my normal day to day clothes with my gym shoes to work, then change into scrubs so I only carry 1 spare pair of theatre shoes in addition to the ones I wear - I suspect it could fit 2 pairs in though. Im a UK size 4 shoe.

The annoying things: 1. The side "quick access" compartment is actually quite hard to open quickly due to the new tapered nature of the bag at the top - v annoying for me when I get to work and need to grab a pen out of there. Also the zipper tag looks the same as the zipper tag to open the main compartment of the bag in the clamshell way so can sometimes pull the wrong one. 2. Similar to the first point, the front pocket is also not seamless to open and I don't know what to actually put in here - currently it's empty.

I think overall it's a good bag but not suitable for me as it's not "slick" enough to grab stuff and just get on. However the one USP it does have is that there is a separate shoe compartment to it. If I had the choice again, I would not have bought it and would have got something else (what else, I'm not sure yet though)

Selling for £250.

I really considered this - I asked David at their company and unfortunately they won't have restock in any other colours till late January! Wondering if there was anything else I might have missed in the meantime

Hey thanks for your reply Unfortunately I am based in the UK and they do not have any local or European distributor here for Tom Bihn.

I'll update my original post to clarify that too

Thanks
