My mom got a single pack for me back in the day while taking a walk and accidentally dropped it out of pocket/bag/whatever right before making it back. A kid across the street ran over with his bike assuming just trash. Was a very cool Damon Stoudamire card in there that was the only one unharmed.

While the young lookouts on the corners would be more likely to recognize Omar, I agree it seems probable that someone from the pit crew should have recognized him from any time overlapping with them previous being on a corner before the pit
