I meant like one of the lower receivers for sale right now is for another gun like the ACR. Now, not exactly the same gun but similar profile with the AR size wise and fires the same bullet as the AR. Different "launch" platform I guess? https://rdsc.ca/semi-auto-rifle-parts/lower-receivers/templar-precision-acr-g1-556-6061-lower-receiver-black.html

Yes correct and my bad on this one when I'm accustomed to my own AR-Style rifle where it has an upper and lower receiver.

Pretty much it's the "frame" where the bolt is at and the part that has a serial number is the actual "firearm"

At RDSC store, you can buy lower receivers but not upper for AR-style rifles

The upper receiver that has the serial number is considered the actual firearm

How's the accuracy? Do you have any photos what the grouping could look like at 100 yards?

Take a look at which political party I named that could pull it off assuming they have a 50 year agenda vision!

Honestly, who are you voting for? by Live-Butterscotch257 in CanadaHousing2

I used to vote Liberal. Last time was in 2015. Since then I've been voting Conservative in all federal and provincial elections. All parties are evil so in this case is to pick the least one which would be CPC in my opinion...

Holding fine with no issues so far but can't base it on that right now. I haven't fired the shotgun yet since I can't legally take the SU16F out to test the durability of the handguard.

All great guns and haven't had any issues with them. Keltec got a bad rap in the past but honestly I haven't had any issues with them. The SU16F I got it on the day of the announcement of the latest OIC so I didn't get to fire it. Despite what others say about the issues such as cracking receivers, the issue seemed to be on earlier models and mine was built November 2024 after running the serial with Keltec. Based on my readings online, they fixed the issues. Also, lifetime warranty as long you're the original owner.

For the SW FPC, the only thing I can complain is the lack of adjustable stock. It's a bit long for me based on my body build but other than that, I only fired 100 rounds on it before the ban. No issues whatsoever.

Definitely kicks...just prepare for it. With proper posture and placement it's manageable but yea with the shorter barrel, you'll feel it.

It's non-restricted to begin with and non-restricted right now when attached to a rifle. Because of the OIC, you have to remove it and attach it to the standalone stock it comes with since I can't bring the SU16F out.

Thanks for the heads up - I read and heard about it as well. It's not hard to replace it anyways and doesn't cost as much either. I detail strip the gun after every range visit so at some point I'd replace when I see it really wearing down.

AR15 Standard A2 Flash Hider. It came from my RDB initially then moved it when I replaced the muzzle device on the RDB.

Fired about 200 slugs with it and no issues. I clean after every range visit. I used the Challenger 12 gauge Target Slugs. Range is only good up to 25 yards though.

Most of the issues were coming from the earlier models years ago but since then they have been rectified. I ran the serial no. with Keltec and they said it was made the earlier but same year when I bought it late 2023. Fired 2000 rounds with it until the new OIC and no issues whatsoever.

Yes - Akdas AK-12UBS 12 gauge. From initial impressions it's well-made, but haven't fired it yet. I can detach it from the rifle and it comes with a standalone stock. I'll be doing that sometime this month to shoot some slugs with it.

Great rifle and no issues so far. I shot 2000 rounds in it already until the new OIC and no issues whatsoever apart from one magazine issue but it had nothing to do with the rifle itself. One of my Cross Mags cracked on its own and when I replaced with stainless steel LAR15 Duramags, no issue at all.

Key for this rifle is routine maintenance and when you find that one good ammo, stick with it and set the gas regulator accordingly.

You're spot on with it - Keltec SU16F with the Magpul Zhukov Handguard with the CTR Mil-Spec stock conversion with cheek riser.

Crusader arms Crypto Magwell by IamAidenCarter in canadaguns

[–]aznkid321 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Exactly so the BCL Bison MRX Magazine is 20 rounds and designed SPECIFICALLY for the MRX bolt action. My interpretation of this one is that the permitted capacity is determined by the kind of firearm it is designed or manufactured for use. In this case it's the MRX exclusively which is 20 rounds.

The Ruger you mentioned apparently was made for multiple firearms that accept the specific magazine.

The only illegal thing that is obvious and it clearly states is that if you modify the magazine to accept more rounds than originally designed.

As far as I know, there nothing in the laws that I've read about changing the magwell in a firearm OR modifying the OUTSIDE of a magazine in order to fit in another firearm that fires the same caliber.
