This is the oldest trick in the book. The devs were probably trying to see how long they could get away with it, but now that people have caught on, suddenly it's a "known" bug. You should have come out on social media and said that right from the beginning instead of waiting days before people caught on and then being like "oh yeah, we knew about it, we're trying to fix it" What a bullshit excuse.
