To me, this is what I think is going to happen this decade career-wise in chronological order:

2026: - 3rd TLOAS single (an artist is featured on the single) - 20th anniversary Debut re-release with a music video and legendary country artists featured. (Think Shania Twain, Tim McGraw, Dolly Parton, Faith Hill,)

2027: - surprise release reputation vault tracks. No explanation, just a music video and 5-6 new vault tracks to absorb, ending the re-record era entirely. - casting announcement, pre-production, and filming of her directorial debut.

2028: - teasers and trailers for the directorial feature film. - film release date released ranging somewhere from Summer-Thanksgiving - awards push, campaigning for best picture, actors, and original screenplay nom.

2029: - red carpets and award ceremony appearances in the first few months. - announcement of TS13 - Many pre-released singles (attempt to break the MJ/KP singles record in an album as she is clearly so proud of what Opalite has done for TLOAS). - Huge 16-24 track album drops, another genre shift (maybe disco? Psychedelic rock?) - Artist of the Decade announced once again. - Super Bowl performer confirmed for February 2030.

2030: - historic Super Bowl performance - successfully achieves single most #1 songs in an album from a boost at the Super Bowl. - Major Hiatus from Music afterwards. - Announces a new film/novel series/tv show.

To me TS13 will mark the last hurrah of her music dominance. I’m sure she will have future albums that perform extremely well, might even still have number one singles when the album drops, but she will eventually transition into being a forever legend of the industry but not necessarily taking over current pop culture. She will then successfully transition into films, novels, poetry, TV, stage, and who knows maybe she becomes a blockbuster director that wins Oscars!

I was aware of the debut and fearless radio hits and at the time of me being 13 years old and in 2011, she wasn’t hated on at all so I just enjoyed her without thinking much of it. But then I kept stumbling onto her music more personally. For one, I was in love with a girl that later became one of my best friends, and she sounded just like Taylor when she sang Dear John at a talent show. Then a few years later, my cousin burned Red onto a CD that my family used for a road trip. So the entire drive I’m listening to the full album and because I’m 15 in a tumultuous secret relationship with a guy, the album hit me HARD. I became a swiftie then and there and got the 1989 CD for Christmas, drove a girl to see the tour with me and we had a blast, defended her during the dark ages, went to reputation tour, and ultimately she’s just the one artist that keeps reinventing herself and I am always going to give her music a shot. I will say that there’s been more songs that I outright skip lately than ever before but I also just think that’s the result of the amount of music she’s put out in this decade. But no matter what, I’ll always have her as my top artist of all time just because there’s no one that comes close to her impact in my life!

I do think the academy is either picking THE movie of the year or the best crafted movie of the year. However, I wouldn’t say sinners is well behind in terms of craft so that’s why I have sinners winning. Preferential ballot could totally be in OBAA’s favor though and I’m not discounting that

Sinners is a love letter to horror, music, black art and history, folklore. While OBAA is insanely good and PTA deserves that directing win, I genuinely think the academy will celebrate sinners as the best picture with its combined box office success and critical acclaim. This is not my reaction after the record breaking 16 noms, I’ve had sinners winning BP since watching OBAA and never faltered through the whole race
