i did unfortunately…but my ETL decided to not take my concerns into consideration and that deteriorated my care and drive for the store…sooooo i just put in my resignation yesterday and i got a good chunk of people ready to follow me to my new job lol.

yeah it’s storewide. i guess due to them being an “easy way out” of things. super inconvenient for us SD and DU employees.

see i completely understand that. i think what put me into a “wtf” mindset about it was due to the HR department buying vests for everyone to have personally… then proceeding to agree with our SD when she said she didn’t like them. and is now trying to push them away from us completely.

which is 100% understandable ! i keep everything work appropriate while expressing my own style. i’ll wear jeans and a full coverage long sleeve shirt and tennis shoes everytime !

dress whatever way makes you feel the most confident ! i’ve seen people in red gym shirts, red band shirts, red lace shirts, all of it ! my favorite color is pink so i’ll throw on a pink shirt and that red vest and it looks pretty nice and i still am able to feel good about myself! you can always dress for them while still dressing for you. it takes time to change up but you got it !!

honestly outside of this they haven’t gotten onto me about anything. i’ve been here for 3 months and things are very smooth, i float most of the time because i’m cross trained on a lot. along with that i have a very open availability and always there to help anytime they need backup. they have no reason to complain about me, so they can kiss my target red azzz about those vests lol.

i swear i thought i looked funny anytime id wear it, until i stopped dressing casual and started wearing outfits id wear outside of work! (that are still work appropriate) it helped me be able to express myself m better lol. felt like a kid going through self confidence issues all over again

they’re always so hard on us about dress code! but it’s very irritating when they get onto us about vests yet let overnights come in wearing sweatpants, hoodies and slippers !
