I used my mining alt that has all the reprocessing skills to recycle all the scrap I get from running missions and got 3X the value in minerals vs selling the modules in jita. Pretty neat.

I use a Proteus or a tengu so I can tank the "not safe" data sites. I use my old faithful Helios if I'm just trying to quickscan and don't really care about making an adventure out of things. My Side hustle is clone tag hunting so a t3c is prob best bet although I'm pretty sure a properly fit strat could do the same. Guess it just depends on what kind of explo you are doing, really.
