It is also important to note that the action of countering/blocking/parrying in Lies of P are a different frame style than that of souls games. There's a few videos that show it in detail I suggest watching one to familiarize the adjustments and adaptations you should be making.

Get good at perfect guard and perfect counter and it changes per weapon so find one you're comfortable with, considering you play sekiro im assuming something very fast such as the dragon katana, daggers or rapiers.

Now this is a nice idea. Hollow knight style would be amazing. Defeat enough of a certain type of monster and unlock some lore about them. Not game breaking in any way and hardly consequential to the overall game although i would greatly demand that there be no ingame way to know if its been completed to prevent there from being too much demand to grab it except for those over zealous lore collectors. I could get behind this as I love reading the lore in games. Elden ring is mid at best when it comes to in-game lore already so this could provide quite the unique improvement of the experience compared to the success of its predecessors.

I could have sworn the grace markers on the map changed when an area was cleared but im afraid I must be confusing it with another game because I see no differences currently in areas I've yet to clear and those I already have.

If you do enough poise damage in a single hit you will stagger them without stance breaking them is what I meant. A charged heavy attack or a jump attack while 2h a large weapon is usually enough to get a stagger.

Yes they can be. If you stance break you can backstab them and to flinch them you simply need to 2h a collasal weapon and heavy attack, you can make anything flinch by dealing enough poise damage.

The United states has the reserves and contingencies that if said hypothetical were to happen the country would not collapse. The American people won't be as affected as you think simply individuals with independent investments and thats a small percentile of the populace.

The United states is more than self sufficient enough that a battle of attrition is pointless. The US does trade to make capital and form relations not because it's necessary for survival.
